When a large deposit is placed with Carson Bank, upon your request, the funds can be placed into certificates of deposit issued within this network. This occurs in increments under $100,000 to ensure both principal and interest are eligible for full FDIC insurance coverage, and it occurs without sending your private information to other banks. Other members of this network do the same with their customer’s deposits so the whole deposit is available to lend locally.
